Its been a while since I last posted. It has been a busy few weeks the kids have gone back to school and I have had some drama with the car which fortunately is now working ok and has the MOT for the year. I still have manged for the most part to get videos up on my youtube channel and am keeping to my schedule of uploading something every Tuesday and Thursday. Despite an internet outage to two which meant that I was a little late on one or two of them.
I have also manged to do a few streams on twitch.tv I stream when i can and when internet allows my latest uploads to YouTube are from a live steam that i did while playing lord of the rings online [lotro] Part 1Part 2 . There are more video’s on my channel and I would very much appreciate it if you would like and subscribe.
A few large pieces of news have happened since I last posted, Microsoft buying Minecraft is one. Personally on this I think that even and 2.5billion buying Mojang is a good deal for them however I do worry what it will mean for Minecraft especially on the Playstation format. I hope that Microsoft treat the community right and realise that having it on every platform known to man is a good thing.
As I type in the UK, Scotland are voting either yes or no to decide whether they want to stay part of the UK or if they want to go it alone. So far most of the polls have been very very close. I personally hope that Scotland stay as I do think that we are stronger together than we are apart. I am however getting fed up about all the coverage that there has been about it. As I live in England and am English I don’t get to have a say on the matter but its been all that has been talked about for the last few months. We should know by tomorrow morning either way.
I think that is all for now.
I would just like to thank my followers and subscribers and hope that you continue to enjoy my content.
It had been widly reported that come the end of the 31st of june the much maligned and some would say hated games for windows live would become no more as microsoft were set to switch it off for good.
This would have left several games unplayable with out a patch not unlike the recent closure of gamespy.
However according to MCV this is not happening and microsoft themselfs saying that they are continuing to support the platform which is good for games that rely on it and didnt look like they would have had any chance of a patch.
It’s good news for the games that were in limbo and for the players that still play them.
The big question is what have Microsoft got planned for games for Windows live now? What do they have planned for the pc? Time will only tell.
The BBC has a very intresting article on its website discussion about this very thing its a very intresting read and I suggest that you all go Here to read it.
Misplaced fears about terror, privacy and child protection are preventing amateur photographers from enjoying their hobby, say campaigners.
Phil Smith thought ex-EastEnder Letitia Dean turning on the Christmas lights in Ipswich would make a good snap for his collection.
The 49-year-old started by firing off a few shots of the warm-up act on stage. But before the main attraction showed up, Mr Smith was challenged by a police officer who asked if he had a licence for the camera.
After explaining he didn’t need one, he was taken down a side-street for a formal “stop and search”, then asked to delete the photos and ordered not take any more. So he slunk home with his camera………
I dabble in a little bit of photography myself which any of you that have gone to my flickr account will know. As of yet I have never had any trouble but It doesn’t surprise me at all that some people are. It depresses me that this sort of thing happens as its exactly what the terrorists want they want us to live in fear.
Its good that this sort of thing is brought to people attention its also nice to know what your rights actually are.
